Infrared thermography training provides the necessary foundation for the success of any infrared thermography program. Infrared thermography is not about pointing an infrared camera at an object and the camera identifying the fault. The thermographer needs to understand what parameters like emissivity and reflective temperature means and how to apply this to the application at hand. In addition there are a host of other factors and application-specific issues to keep in mind when doing surveys.
